FICG in LA celebrates 6 years of Latin cinema in Los Angeles

From October 7 to 10, the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Los Angeles (FICG in LA) will be celebrating its sixth edition screening the best of contemporary Iberoamerican cinema to both Hispanic and English-speaking audiences in Hollywood.

This installment of FICG in LA will take place at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters, considered by many one of the most iconic movie theater in the world.

Like every year, the festival is presented by the University of Guadalajara Foundation in the US and the Mexican Department of Culture . The University of Guadalajara, the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the General Consulate of Mexico in Los Angeles, will serve as the main sponsors.

Producer, Berta Navarro, will be presenting the Tree of Life to Academy Award winner Eugenio Caballero for Art Direction of Pan's Labyrinth directed by Guillermo del Toro.
