THE FIFTH EDITION OF FICG IN LA CONCLUDED WITH THE LOS ANGELES PREMIERE OF CIUDAD DELIRIO DIRECTED BY CHUS GUTIERREZ WITH ATTENDENCE BY LEAD ACTRESS CAROLINA RAMÍREZ.
LOS ANGELES (August 30, 2015) – Today the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Los Angeles (FICG in LA) - presented by the University of Guadalajara Foundation in USA and CONACULTA, with Principal Sponsors the University of Guadalajara, the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Institute of Cinema Mexico (IMCINE), UNIVISION and LA OPINION end its fifth edition of Guadalajara International Film Festival in Los Angeles (FICG in LA) in its four days of screenings and activities industry with Los Angeles premiere of the film Ciudad Delirio directed by Chus Guitierrez with the attendance of lead actress Carolina Ramírez. Producer, Berta Navarro, will be presenting the Tree of Life to Academy Award winner Eugenio Caballero for Art Direction of Pan's Labyrinth directed by Guillermo del Toro.
This year FICG in LA, celebrities, dignitaries and the general public once again went a step further in its mission to promote the best of Mexican and Ibero-American cinema to the rich and diverse community of Los Angeles while supporting, through its industry initiatives, the emerging filmmakers from the region.

FICG was founded in 1986 by the Mexican filmmaker Jaime Humberto Hermosillo, with the tremendous help from young film students like Guillermo del Toro, and support from the University of Guadalajara. It will celebrate its 31th edition in March, 2016.
