ANGÉLICA, después de diez años en Nueva York, regresa a Puerto Rico cuando su padre, sufre un derrame cerebral.  El regreso obliga a Angélica a reevaluar la relación con sus familiares racistas. Ella se da cuenta que no sabe quién es y lo que va descubriendo no le gusta. Angélica tiene que decidir si regresa a su vida anterior, insatisfecha, pero segura, o se aventura a redescubriese como mujer independiente, y mulata.

ANGELICA, after being away from Puerto Rico for ten years, is forced to return when her father suffers a stroke. This forces Angelica to re-evaluate her relationship with her racist family. She has to face herself and discover that she does not know who she is. She has to either return to her previous life, dissatisfied but secure, or set on a path to rediscover herself as a strong independent woman.

Tiene una maestría en cine de New School. Participo en IFP Project Involve, Talent Campus Guadalajara, y becada al Seminario Tareula III de Miami. Sus cortos Rosa y Lazos participaron en varios festivales internacionales tales como Festival Tous Courts, Festival Cine Huesca, Festival de Cine de Cartagena, Festival de Cine Guadalajara. Su largometraje, Angélica recibio apoyo de Programa IBERMEDIA.

Filmmaker and painter with a Masters from New School. She participated in IFP Project Involve, Talent Campus Guadalajara and TareulaIII Seminar, Miami. Her short films Rosa and Lazos premiered at various international film festivals like Festival Tous Courts, Huesca Film Festival, Cartagena Film Festival, and Guadalajara International Film Festival. Her feature film Angelica received grants from Programa Ibermedia.
